Abstract Submission Guidelines

1- The deadline for abstract submission is January 15, 2027.

2- Submission of abstracts via the system at https://kongre2027.turkomurga.org.tr/ is the only valid method of abstract submission for the congress. Abstracts sent via fax or email will not be considered.

Writing Guidelines

1- Academic titles should not be used in author names.

2- The first letter of the first name should be capitalized, and the entire last name should also be capitalized.

Example: Mehmet YAVUZ

3- The names and addresses of the institutions where the authors work must be clearly stated.

Example: Xxxx University Faculty of Medicine, Xxxx Department, Ankara, Turkey

4- The entire abstract title should be written in capital letters.

Example: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

5- Abbreviations should be indicated in parentheses next to the full name the first time they are used.

6- The abstract should briefly state the purpose of the study and the methods used, summarize the findings with sufficient numerical detail, and explain the conclusions within the framework of the presented findings.

7- The abstract should be written using the headings: purpose, methods, findings, and conclusion.

8- The entire abstract, excluding the title and the authors' names and surnames, should not exceed 400 words.

9- Abstracts that do not comply with any of these points will be excluded from evaluation, regardless of their content.

Important Points

-Only English abstracts will be accepted. Presentations can be made in Turkish.

-For the accepted abstract to be included in the congress program and proceedings book, the PRESENTING AUTHOR must have registered for the congress.

-The presenting author may present a maximum of 2 abstracts.

- After the abstract evaluations are completed and the abstract acceptance letter is sent, it is not possible to add/remove authors or change the presenter/author.

- After registration, the explanations on the page will help you; please read the messages and explanations carefully.

- Since abstracts will be printed as submitted, attention must be paid to writing rules.

- After submitting your abstract, please save the confirmation messages that will be sent to your email address.

- You can follow the entire evaluation process of your abstract by logging into the system with your email and password.

- Abstracts that have not yet been finalized will not be accepted.

Abstract Evaluation

Abstracts will be evaluated by abstract evaluation referees, keeping the names/surnames and institutions of the researchers confidential. For an accepted abstract to be included in the congress program, at least one of the authors must register for the congress. The evaluation results will be sent to the authors as a result letter via email.
